
Kimberly works as a Special Education Program Assistant in CCSD15, one of D211’s elementary feeder districts. She has a BA in English Education from Iowa State University, a graduate diploma in Disability Studies, and certificates in health/fitness.
Since Kimberly graduated from college, she’s lived and taught in the United States, England, New Zealand, and Australia in various subjects, including English Literature, GED recovery for youth on parole, violence prevention, and comprehensive sex education.
Kimberly was elected to the D211 School Board in April 2019 and elected board secretary in April 2021.
Originally from Central Illinois, Kimberly lives in Palatine with her husband and two children. She is a member of the Countryside Unitarian Universalist Church.
